What you can do
Money moves in two directions and the API covers both. They share one account, one set of credentials, one signing scheme and one balance — but they are separate integrations with separate guides.
Both can be polled for status or push you a signed callback, and both have a sandbox to test
against first — payins, payouts.
Payins credit the same balance payouts spend from, so money you take in can be paid out again
with no transfer step.

Sign up and complete KYC
Create your account at pontisglobe.com and complete KYC verification.
Once verified, open Developer Tools to find your API Key, Encryption Secret, and
HMAC Secret. See the full route to live keys

Log in
POST to
/api/v1/user/login to receive a short-lived JWT bound to your account and mode.3
Send a transaction
POST to
/api/v1/payouts/sendPayoutRequest with an encrypted body and the JWT.4
Get status
Either poll
/api/v1/payouts/getPayoutStatus — or register a callback URL and we’ll POST to

Sign up and get set up
Same credentials as above. Payins additionally need the product enabled and a merchant profile
on your account — see Before you start.

Create the payment
POST to
/api/v1/gateway/payments/create with your order reference and amount. No login call
and no JWT. You get back a checkout_url.3
Redirect your customer
Send them to the
checkout_url. They pay from their own wallet on a page carrying your
branding.4
Fulfil on the callback
We POST you a signed callback when the payment settles. Fulfil on that, never on the browser
redirect — and never on
paid alone, since underpaid and overpaid also mean the money
